Refund policy

Time Limit and Procedure for Exercising the Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of fourteen (14) days from receipt of the Order to exercise their right of withdrawal from Céleste Caribbean, without having to provide any reason for their decision. After this fourteen (14)-day period, the sale shall be considered final and binding.

The right of withdrawal may be exercised by completing and sending the model withdrawal form set out in Appendix 1 of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale by email to mm@celestecaribbean.com.

The Customer may not exercise their right of withdrawal for a Product made according to their specifications, or for any Product that has been used, worn, washed, damaged, or unsealed.

Return Procedure

The right of withdrawal may be exercised without penalty.

The Customer must return the Product without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days following notification of their decision to withdraw, in accordance with Article L.221-21 of the French Consumer Code. After this deadline, the return can no longer be accepted and no refund will be issued. The shipping date shall be deemed conclusive, and the Customer is therefore advised to retain the proof of shipment issued by the carrier.

Return shipping costs shall, in all cases, be borne by the Customer, except for a first exchange as provided below.

To make a return, the Customer must follow the procedure indicated on the return slip provided upon request by logging into their account. Depending on the return location, Céleste Caribbean will provide the Customer with the applicable return address (Martinique or mainland France).

Return Acceptance Conditions

The returned Product must:

• Be in its original packaging;
• Be new, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged;
• Have its original label intact;
• Be in a condition suitable for resale.

Any Product that does not meet all of these conditions will be refused and returned to the Customer at their expense, and no refund or store credit will be issued.

In particular, the following items will be refused: garments that are soiled, show traces of makeup or have an odor, are torn or damaged, or have a missing or damaged label.

Refunds

In accordance with Article L.221-24 of the French Consumer Code, the refund will be issued within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date on which Céleste Caribbean is informed of the Customer's decision to withdraw.

However, Céleste Caribbean reserves the right to defer the refund until the returned Product has been received and its compliance with the conditions set out in the “Return Acceptance Conditions” section above has been verified.

The refund will be issued immediately upon receipt of the Product and completion of the inspection, with no additional delay. It will be made using the same payment method used for the original order, unless the Customer expressly agrees to another method of payment.

Any return made outside the prescribed procedure will not be accepted or processed.

Exchanges

A Customer wishing to exchange an item must submit their request within the fourteen (14)-day withdrawal period following receipt of the Order and return the Product in accordance with the conditions set out in the “Return Acceptance Conditions” section above.

For an exchange, Céleste Caribbean will cover, once per order, the return shipping costs for the original Product as well as the shipping costs for the replacement item.

After this first exchange, or in the event that the exchanged item is subsequently returned, all shipping costs shall be borne by the Customer.
